An Insurance Broker...
- Behalf
- Acts on behalf of the policyholder not the insurer and is the policyholder's own personal insurance advisor in regard to choice of insurer, cover, premium and claims. The Broker is independent of any insurer and in acting on behalf of the client will provide independent and impartial advice.
- Relationship
- Acts as an intermediary between the policyholder and the insurer. This "bridge" is extremely effective in that the Broker will have a long established relationship with the insurer and will be better placed than the policyholder to deal with any queries, alterations or problems.
- Operates
- Operates with a large cross section of insurers so as to be able to provide the most suitable policy and cover at a competitive price. Not all insurers are the same and not all policies are the same. The use of a Broker allows policyholders access to a vast market of insurers and products.
- Knowledge
- Has a comprehensive knowledge of all types of insurance so as to provide a "one stop shop" for all a clients insurance requirements.
- Evaluate
- Is best place to be able to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of insurers and policies available in the market. Policyholders can rely on the Broker's experience rather than having to do their own comparisons.
- Recommend
- Is able to recommend the most suitable policy to cater for the clients individual requirements. A Broker will be experienced at matching client's requirements with products and insurers available.
